It’s so important to regularly maintain your website.  Over time, plugins and indeed, WordPress itself become out-of-date, which results in a deterioration in speed and increased vulnerability to attack.

Our health-check comprises a review and report to let you know where your site needs to be improved:

  1. Identify unnecessary user accounts for people who don’t need them.
  2. Identify and remove plugins that are not in use.
  3. Update software to the latest versions.
  4. Deactivate any software that is redundant but still using up valuable processor capacity.
  5. Switch off “comments” if you are not using them.
  6. Remove any inactive themes.
  7. Remove any unused example posts that were installed with the theme.
  8. Install Google™ Analytics so you can see which pages are popular and which ones are not.
  9. Connect to Google™ Search to improve your rating.
  10. Tidy up page names – for example “Home version 5”.
  11. Repair any broken Google™ maps.
  12. Determine whether caching will help improve the speed of your site.

We will use various test tools to establish what is delaying your site and what needs to be done about it.

The cost of all this work?  NZ$250 +GST to ensure your website is as sprightly as the day it went live!
