Avalon builds websites using WordPress, a flexible and widely supported website platform. We generally use the Kadence Theme, which combines powerful design capabilities with excellent technical support. Our experience with Kadence enables us to go beyond standard layouts, developing our own templates, automations and customisations to create websites that work the way your organisation needs them to.
Our websites can do much more than display information. Using tools such as Formidable Forms Pro, we can build forms and automate business processes, from collecting and managing information to handling enquiries, registrations and other routine tasks. How we work
- Understand your requirements. We’ll discuss the services you need, which might include website hosting, a domain name, email accounts and the website itself. We’ll also explore additional requirements, such as online sales, automated business processes or private areas for staff and members.
- Develop your design brief. Our design brief helps us understand your organisation, your objectives and your preferences for the website’s appearance and functionality. If you’re unsure what you want, we can propose an initial design to give us something concrete to discuss and refine.
- Build your website. We’ll prepare an initial version of your site, incorporating the text, images and other content you provide, together with the agreed design and functionality. We can extend Kadence with custom templates, automations and other enhancements. Using Formidable Forms Pro, we can also develop sophisticated forms and workflows that collect information, manage submissions and automate tasks that might otherwise require manual intervention.
- Review and refine. You’ll have the opportunity to review the website and identify changes. We’ll incorporate your feedback and work with you to resolve outstanding issues before launch.
- Publish your website. Once you’re happy with the result, we’ll arrange publication at a mutually agreed time. This might coincide with a wider marketing initiative or simply be as soon as the site is ready.
