The Greytown Hotel includes the “Top Pub” and the “1860 Restaurant”. These are established brands and a social focus in the Wairarapa. The site projects and extends that brand by engaging with visitors and providing some of the atmosphere they will see when they visit.

The site incorporates 2 different Facebook feeds. A number of pages show the feed from the main Facebook page. But the 1860 Restaurant has it’s own Facebook page, so a separate feed is shown on that page.

There are a number of downloadable files including: menus, wine list and cocktail list. These are updated regularly by the owner and available for viewing and download by the public.

The Accommodation pages provides links through to two different booking systems for the 2 types of accommodation.

There are two facets to the online shop. The 1860 Restaurant leads to a list of menus and daily specials. Customers can order food for delivery or pick-up, and pay by Poli, credit card or bank transfer.

The Bottle Store has a separate online shopping area, protected by an under-18 age check. On checkout, customers enter their date of birth for a second confirmation.
